Songs for a Summer’s Evening

On 20th June 2013, the choir performed songs for a summer’s evening at St Vedast Foster Lane near St Paul’s Cathedral under the baton of Musical Director, Esther Jones. The programme featured Britten’s much-loved Five Flower Songs, commemorating the centenary of the composer’s birth, alongside other choral classics such as Pearsall’s Lay a garland, Stanford’s The Blue Bird and Sullivan’s The Long Day Closes.
