English Songs for a Summer Evening
The Esterhazy Singers presented a delightful evening of English pastoral part songs and choral classics in the beautiful surroundings of St. Mary’s Church, Battersea.
To commemorate the 150th anniversary of his birth, the programme featured Vaughan-Williams’s much-loved Three Shakespeare Songs and Five Mystical Songs, alongside other choral classics such as Finzi’s ‘My Spirit Sang All Day’.
